Our 12-Point Cleaning System

Step 1: Pre-Inspection

Every great carpet cleaning and restoration company starts with a proper, precise carpet, rug, tile, or upholstery pre-inspection. The pre-inspection is key, allowing us to set up a plan for servicing your carpet, tile, or upholstery. Inform us of your heaviest concerns, and we will inspect specific areas, carpet construction, and soiling conditions. We’ll also notify you of possible permanent staining. Not all stains can be completely removed, and a trustworthy company won’t claim otherwise.

Step 2: Pre-Vacuum

If appropriate for the situation, your carpet will be promptly pre-vacuumed to remove bonded dry soil, making the main cleaning methods run smoother. Vacuuming of door jams and baseboards and all nooks and crannies. This pre-cleaning helps more dirt and debris be cleaned up during the main cleaning.

Step 3: Move Furniture (optional)

By request, smaller furniture will be moved, while larger pieces remain in place. Furniture is well-protected with disposable blocks and tabs as needed.

Step 4: Pre-Condition & Pre-Spot Treatment

Spots and stains are pre-treated with an effective alkaline solution developed to remove spots and stains. We have many spotters for many types of spots and stains.

Step 5: Pre-Condition Areas (optional)

Heavy traffic areas are pre-conditioned with a deep cleaning emulsifier to suspend soil for easy removal during cleaning.

Step 6: Pre-Groom

Depending on the soil level, the carpet will be pre-groomed to loosen traffic area soiling for a more effective main cleaning process.

Step 7: Extract & Rinse

The carpet is rinsed with a hot water extraction machine, removing soil and leaving carpets residue-free. Pressure and heat are regulated for optimal results.

Step 8: Neutralize

Every carpet is rinsed with a pH-balanced product to ensure no sticky residue is left behind, improving air quality in your living space.

Step 9: Post Spot Treatment

If any spots are not removed during the main cleaning process, specialty-spotting techniques are employed after a thorough cleaning to get rid of all the stubborn spots that were not lifted. We will do the best we can to make sure every single spot is treated, utilizing the best of our knowledge and equipment.

Step 10: Carpet Protector

Very few carpets need this process but we still offer it.

Carpets protected with 3M Scotchgard or DuPont’s Teflon last longer, clean up easier, and stay clean longer. Overall, the carpet protectors prolong the durability and life of your carpet. We offer carpet protectors as an option, but it is up to you to ultimately decide if you want us to apply it or not.

Step 11: Carpet Grooming

In the final step, the carpet is raked to its fullest height to speed up the drying process. Most carpeting dries in 3 to 6 hours and can be walked on immediately after use with our proven cleaning system.

Step 12: Post-Inspection

After we are through with the job, we encourage you to take a walk through your home or business office(s), using the plastic boots we provide to inspect our work and make sure that we’ve met your standards. If you’re satisfied, let us know, and if not, we’ll do whatever we can to make sure that you are. At the end of the post-inspection, we will ask that you sign our service invoice.
